Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission
The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is responsible for managing the natural resources of the State of Florida. They are your resource for hunting and fishing licenses, they conduct research on habitats, plant and wildlife species, and freshwater and marine fisheries, and they enforce state regulations for boating, fishing, environmental protection, and natural resource protection.

- Wildlife Alert Program – Report fishing, wildlife or boating violations anonymously. If your tip results in an arrest or citation, you may be eligible for a reward. There are four ways to report an issue:
- Smartphone App – Apple Store or Google Play Store
- Text your report to 847411 (Tip411) with “FWC” in the heading
- Call the Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-FWCC (888-404-3922)

Division of Emergency Management
The Florida Division of Emergency Management (DEM) provides disaster information and response/recovery services to the residents of Florida.

- Current Disaster Updates – Includes incoming hurricanes and ongoing recovery efforts for disasters that have already occurred.
- Statewide 5-Day Weather Outlook
- Disaster Preparedness – Includes articles to help you plan and prepare for hurricanes.
- Florida Special Needs Registry – Free registry to provide first responders with information about people with special needs that may need specialized or additional assistance during a disaster. This program is managed through the Florida Department of Health.
- Flood Insurance – Information about flood insurance and the National Flood Insurance Program.
- State Assistance Information Line (SAIL) – 800-342-3557 – SAIL is a toll-free hotline that is activated during emergencies/disasters to provide a up-to-date information to people in Florida.
- Shelters – Links to open emergency/disaster shelters, including information about special needs shelters in each county.

Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles
The Florida Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles division manages all aspects of law enforcement pertaining to vehicles on our roadways and waterways. They issue driver licenses and state ID cards, and vehicle tags and titles. They provide highway safety information and resources. They are also home to the Florida Highway Patrol.
